Nashville artist Amber Hayes is a true multi-talent threat in the entertainment field. Already known as an accomplished theater performer (most notably as Kathy Twitty in the 2009 Conway Twitty musical, “It’s Only Make Believe,” Amber released her debut Country album in 2010. Her first two singles, “C’mon” and “Wait” were Top 40 singles on the MusicRow CountryBreakout chart and solidified her as an artist to watch in the Nashville community. This summer, Amber landed her first big screen movie appearance. Amber contributed three songs to the 2012 summer flick, “Cowgirls N’ Angels” and even has a small acting role in the film. Amber is returning to the studio to finish up her sophomore album. Look for a new single from that project later this summer or early fall!”
Q: If you could be anyone for a day, who would it be and why?
A: Dolly Parton! I think it’s because she has her hands in so many different ventures. I wonder how she gets so much done in 24hrs? I love that she is able to bless so many people – I can’t imagine how rewarding that must be! Plus, if I were Dolly for a day, I wouldn’t have to fix my own hair! Ha!

A: Sweet!
Q: What is the last song or album that you downloaded?
A: I just downloaded the new Lee Brice album. My new favorite song on the radio right now is “A Woman Like You.” What woman doesn’t love that song?
Q: When you looked at yourself in the mirror this morning what was the first thing you thought?
A: Hmmm…look at those dark circles under your eyes!
Q: What is one word that you say a lot?
A: Y’all
Q: If you could pick one person to tour with whom would it be?
A: Brad Paisley. I am such a fan of what he does and his commitment to the tradition of Country music!
Q: Who has influenced you most in your personal life?
A: My Nana and Papaw. They have and continue to make a difference in my life as well as lots of other’s lives.
Q: Who has influenced you most in your musical life?
A: Reba! Being an Oklahoma girl, she was the first person I saw on stage and thought, “I want to do that!”
Q: If your house were on fire what one item would you make sure to grab before running for safety?
A: My dog, Ty.
Q: Would you ever participate in a reality TV show? If Yes, which one would you sign up for?
A: Sure, I would consider being in a reality TV show. I’d be on one of those that had anything to do with shopping, eating, or decorating. I love all of those things!
