Any Day Is A Good Day, the anticipated sophomore release from Country artist Amber Hayes, is now available via iTunes, GMVNashville.com and AmberHayesMusic.com.

Any Day Is A Good Day is the follow-up album to Hayes’ 2010 debut EP, C’mon, which spawned two Top 40 singles on the national MusicRow CountryBreakout Chart. The new seven-song collection, released through GMVNashille/AOK Entertainment, features three songs co-written by Hayes: the spirited “Me and Loretta,” “Far Far Away” and the inspirational title track, “Any Day Is A Good Day.”

“I was really excited when we finished writing ‘Any Day Is A Good Day,’ because it has such a positive, encouraging message,” says Hayes. “The reaction when I perform it at my shows has been great, and I’ve gotten a lot of really touching comments from people about how this song has brought hope or inspiration to them in some way. I like to think of it as a reminder that each day is a gift and not to take it for granted. It seemed only fitting to name the album after this song.”

Any Day Is A Good Day was produced by Nashville-based producer Paul Compton and reflects Hayes’ maturity as an artist and as a songwriter. Since releasing her C’mon EP in 2010, Hayes has toured the U.S. with former label mate Ty Herndon and traveled internationally in support of her music. Among her overseas dates have been shows in China, Japan, Sweden and Diego Garcia military base in the Indian Ocean, among others.

Hayes has seen her music make the jump to both television and film in 2012. Three of her songs (including a duet with Lonestar’s Richie McDonald) appeared in the family film, Cowgirls N’ Angels, which ran in theaters this summer. The movie also marked Hayes’ acting debut in a
major motion picture, though the singer has extensive theater experience. Hayes got her break in Nashville following her portrayal of Kathy Twitty in the 2008 musical, Conway Twitty: The Man, The Music, The Legend… The Musical. Cowgirls N’ Angels is currently available in
stores on DVD.

The CW television series Hart of Dixie also tapped Hayes for her songs in 2012, placing music in five of the show’s Season 1 episodes. Her 2010 single, “C’mon,” and her follow-up 2011 single, “Wait,” are among the four songs featured in the series this fall.

Four songs performed and co-written by Nashville music artist Amber Hayes will be featured in 5 episodes of The CW hit show “Hart of Dixie.” Included in the list are two of her Music Row Top 40 singles “Wait” and “C’mon.” The show also features two additional hits “Easy on Me” and “Right as Rain.”

“Hart of Dixie” airs this fall starting Oct 2nd. Be sure to check out these songs and Amber’s newest music on iTunes.

Nashville artist Amber Hayes is a true multi-talent threat in the entertainment field. Already known as an accomplished theater performer (most notably as Kathy Twitty in the 2009 Conway Twitty musical, “It’s Only Make Believe,” Amber released her debut Country album in 2010. Her first two singles, “C’mon” and “Wait” were Top 40 singles on the MusicRow CountryBreakout chart and solidified her as an artist to watch in the Nashville community. This summer, Amber landed her first big screen movie appearance. Amber contributed three songs to the 2012 summer flick, “Cowgirls N’ Angels” and even has a small acting role in the film. Amber is returning to the studio to finish up her sophomore album. Look for a new single from that project later this summer or early fall!”

Q: If you could be anyone for a day, who would it be and why?
A: Dolly Parton! I think it’s because she has her hands in so many different ventures. I wonder how she gets so much done in 24hrs? I love that she is able to bless so many people – I can’t imagine how rewarding that must be! Plus, if I were Dolly for a day, I wouldn’t have to fix my own hair! Ha!

Q: Sweet or Salty?
A: Sweet!

Q: What is the last song or album that you downloaded?
A: I just downloaded the new Lee Brice album. My new favorite song on the radio right now is “A Woman Like You.” What woman doesn’t love that song?

A: Hmmm…look at those dark circles under your eyes!

Q: What is one word that you say a lot?
A: Y’all

Q: If you could pick one person to tour with whom would it be?
A: Brad Paisley. I am such a fan of what he does and his commitment to the tradition of Country music!

Q: Who has influenced you most in your personal life?
A: My Nana and Papaw. They have and continue to make a difference in my life as well as lots of other’s lives.

Q: Who has influenced you most in your musical life?
A: Reba! Being an Oklahoma girl, she was the first person I saw on stage and thought, “I want to do that!”

Q: If your house were on fire what one item would you make sure to grab before running for safety?
A: My dog, Ty.

Q: Would you ever participate in a reality TV show? If Yes, which one would you sign up for?
A: Sure, I would consider being in a reality TV show. I’d be on one of those that had anything to do with shopping, eating, or decorating. I love all of those things!
